The Fostering Panel undertakes a significant role in the process of ensuring that the Agency foster carers provide the best possible fostering service to children and young people, and that the placed children’s and young people’s welfare is paramount.

The Agency Fostering Panel is constituted in accordance with the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011. The Independent Panel Chair is a qualified and Social Work England registered social worker with over 20 years of experience in the field of statutory child care, child protection, children looked after and fostering field, both as a practitioner and a manager. The Independent Panel Members are suitably qualified professionals with extensive experience of working with children and young people who are looked after.

One of the Panel Members has also been previously in foster care of local authority.

Be My Family Fostering Agency Fostering Panel is well represented in terms of ethnicity and gender, and has a good balance of diverse professional backgrounds.
